The Toro TimeMaster 30-Inch Personal Pace Gas Lawn Mower Model 21219 combines an extra-wide residential cutting deck with Toro’s Personal Pace self-propel system, a powerful Briggs & Stratton gasoline engine and a timed dual-blade cutting platform.

Power comes from a Briggs & Stratton 223cc OHV four-cycle engine rated at 10.0 ft-lb gross torque. The engine uses recoil starting and supplies power to both the cutting system and the rear-wheel-drive self-propel platform.

The TimeMaster’s primary advantage is its wide 30-inch / 76 cm cutting deck. Compared with conventional 21- or 22-inch residential walk-behind mowers, the wider deck covers more ground with each mowing pass. Toro states that the 30-inch platform can reduce mowing time by up to approximately 40 percent under its comparison conditions.

Cutting is handled by Toro’s Dual-Force™ system, which uses two synchronized Toro Atomic blades beneath the Recycler deck. The timed dual-blade arrangement processes grass across the full 30-inch cutting width and supports both mulching and grass collection.

For propulsion, the mower uses Personal Pace® Auto-Drive with rear-wheel traction. Clippings can be managed through mulching, rear bagging or side discharge. The mower includes a large 2.5-bushel grass bag and side-discharge chute as part of the current configuration.

A Quick Stow handle provides two compact-storage positions while also accommodating different operating handle positions. The mower additionally features a factory washout port for connecting a hose when cleaning the underside of the deck according to Toro’s recommended procedure.
